At first I thought Youtube was just for funny videos and watching clips of the football games I missed, but by watching all of the speakers I thought this would be a great way to get my students to listen and write. I think my students would enjoy summarizing a speaker they get to watch and hear, rather than read a book and summarize it. The internet is a fantastic tool, but you can get on sparknotes and find out about any book, I do not want my students just using that instead of actually reading or listening to someone.
